Fudge Brownies

Chocolate fudge Brownie

 

Ingredients

 

200 grams  butter unsalted

1 1/2 cups of castor sugar

1 cup of cocoa

3 eggs

1/2 cup flour

1 cup of berries or nuts for your choice of toppings (optional)

 

Method

Using electric mixer, beat butter, sugar, and cocoa for 4-5 mins until creamy. (Or a large wooden spoon)

 

Add egg one at a time, beating well after each addition.

 

Stir in flour.

 

Greased a 23 cm square tin with foil or baking paper.

 

Transfer mixture into the tin, add your topping of your choice. Berries, nuts..

 

Baked at 150 fan bake for 25-30 minutes. With frozen berries bake for 35mins. Leave to cool down before slicing. Dust with icing sugar

The centre should appear uncooked.

Cool in tin.

Just before serving, dust with icing sugar.

 

makes 12 slices or 24 small bites size

 

 

Or if you have a food processor, just combine all the ingredients together and blend for 2 minutes or until smooth. This is a short cut if you are short for time in the kitchen.
